Curriculum Overview - Phase Three

Stevie Howl

Phase Three Leader

Miss Howl is your Phase Three Leader. This means that she is responsible for academic success and pastoral support across Year 10 and Year 11. She will help support you with the Be Competitive programme, the lead up to your trial and real GCSEs, and applying for your next steps. She also teaches Religious Studies, and will pop in and out of your lessons to see how you’re getting on. She makes sure that everyone is making progress throughout the two years which will finish with a prom celebration!

Students have a 28 hour week and study a core programme of English, maths, combined or triple science, core RS and core PE.

All students study either history or geography. Students in Phase Three work towards their GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications. There is a strong emphasis on the EBACC at Phase Three. Click here to find out more about the EBACC.

NB: Please note that the subjects and qualifications offered to students are reviewed each academic year.
